Cryo Tanks are a utility in Singularity.
Overview[]
Cryo Tanks are found throughout Nathaniel Renko's journey through the island. These special tanks are filled with liquid nitrogen, as indicated by the plate (the plate says "Azot", which in Russian means Nitrogen). Upon shooting the tank, gas comes out of the tank starting a timer which will lead to the cryo tube exploding. If two or more shots are fired it will automatically explode. The tank will freeze whatever is next to it, including the player. Enemies that are frozen only need to be killed with one hit from any weapon but they can become unfrozen. If Renko is hit the player will remain frozen for about six seconds, the is covered in ice and the player becomes helpless against enemy attacks, but can escape using Impulse to break the ice.
