Singularity 2 is a possible, unconfirmed sequel to the original Singularity. Neither Activision nor Raven Software have confirmed or denied the possibility of a sequel, but it is highly unlikely as the first game did not meet the usual sale requirements. The fan community has attempted to crowd-source such a development regardless, setting up a Facebook page, Kickstarter and petition in order to raise money for such a sequel.[1][2]

On March 23rd 2015, Raven Software posted an image of the Singularity box art to their Twitter account during the studio's 25th anniversary celebrations, with the comment "We're Going Back".[3] The post initially spurred some excitement over the possibility of a sequel, but posts to their Facebook page at around the same time suggests the studio was simply looking back on the game.[4]
